Two arrested in Morgantown on drug charges

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Two people were arrested in Morgantown Thursday morning on drug charges.

According to the Morgantown Police Department, officers served a search warrant at 410 Pennsylvania Avenue, Apartment C after receiving complaints and observing activity regarding suspected drug sales.

Marijuana, packing materials, and a firearm were found in the apartment.

24-year-old Trey Cortez Walker of Charleston and 22-year-old Carrington Morris of Charleston were arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Both are currently awaiting arraignment.

The case is still under investigation.
