Two arrested on kidnapping, robbery charges

HARRISON COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) -- Two Clarksburg residents were behind bars, Friday, accused of kidnapping and robbing another man.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Robert Matheny, 44-year-old Kevin Bennett and 35-year-old Summer Fury were arrested after deputies executed a search warrant, Friday afternoon.

The pair is accused of hitting a man in the head, taking him to a vehicle, then taking him out into the woods at gunpoint with his wrists and ankles tied. They also allegedly stole his wallet, pills and phone.

Bennett and Fury are in the North Central Regional Jail with bond set at $50,000.
