UPDATE: Clarksburg police identify stabbing suspect, remains on the run

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Clarksburg police have identified the man who is suspected of stabbing three people Tuesday night on Baltimore Avenue.

Detectives say they are looking for Donald Amos, who is in his early 50s in connection to the incident.

Police say the incident started as a domestic situation between Amos and his ex-girlfriend.

During the incident, Amos allegedly stabbed two of her neighbors, and the neighbors' relative. Amos' ex-girlfriend was not stabbed.

Two people are still in the hospital. Their names and conditions have not yet been released.

Amos is wanted on three counts of malicious assault. If you have any information, call 911.
