According to a press release from Chief Steve Shine, officers were dispatched to a home on Satterfield Street around 4:15 p.m. Sunday for a possible unattended death.

When officers arrived on scene, they found two men, aged 21 and 31, unresponsive. Police say the men were both residents of the apartment, and both recently moved to the area from Detroit, Michigan.

While searching the apartment, police say they found evidence of drug manufacturing taking place, and believe the two killed were targeted. Police do not believe there is any threat to the general public.

This is an ongoing investigation. If you have any information, call Fairmont Police at 304-366-4200.
