A sunny day turned into a partly cloudy day with temperatures rising in the afternoon and evening hours. While clouds obscured the eclipse in parts of the area at times, it didn't completely ruin the show.
Many areas saw clearing of the clouds during the peak and end of the eclipse. Most locations west of I-79 had great viewing from 2:30pm through the end around 4:00pm.
Clouds did ruin the best part of the eclipse as a few showers passed through from 1:30pm to 4:00pm.
