Wheeling Symphony Orchestra helps Clarksburg celebrate Independence Day

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) - Monday night was a beautiful night for the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra to visit the Clarksburg Amphitheater.

The popular symphony stopped by Clarksburg as part of their annual Celebrate American Tour. The symphony ripped through many different songs including a few patriotic tunes in honor of the 4th of July.

When we talked with someone from the Cultural Foundation of Harrison County, they told us they were delighted to have the symphony here.

"It is extremely special to share this music with our community," said Dolores Yoke of the Cultural Foundation of Harrison County. "We are delighted. This is the third year of bringing the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra out for our outdoor 4th of July concert as we celebrate America."

The night concluded with a fireworks show presented by Antero Resources.
