Winning lottery ticket worth $2 million sold in Charleston

Eden Clark According to the West Virginia Lottery, one lucky winner who purchased a Powerball ticket in Charleston has won $2 million.

That ticket matched five numbers from the drawing on Wednesday, July 11.

It was one of only three tickets to get five matching numbers for this drawing.

Nobody won the jackpot and that has now reached $100 million for next Saturday's drawing.

The winner of that $2 million prize is advised to contact the West Virginia Lottery and sign the back of that ticket immediately.

The store that sold that ticket will be announced later Thursday.
