BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - While flooding caused major problems across our area on Friday, some mountain locations will have winter weather issues this weekend. Rain for much of the area beginning Saturday afternoon. This will mix with ice and snow, leading to more travel issues.

A new storm system will be rain across the lower elevations early Saturday afternoon. Several inches of snow is forecast for most of our region. The lowlands are expecting to see 2-4 inches. The mountains can expect 4 to 6 inches.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that snow and ice will primarily cause travel difficulties. A Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous for parts of Preston, Garrett, and eastern Tucker county.
