BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - The beginning of the week we have a warm start with temperatures well above normal and some records being broken Tuesday. This is due to a strong ridge over the south bring in the warm air that is unseasonable to our area in February.
As we go into the end of the week a low pressure and stalled front causes our area to see a good amount of rain. That is due to the low pressure sitting just South of us with the stalled front staying over us. That front will cause uplift and moisture causing rain. Since the front does not move until the weekend we can expect to see rain for the end of the week.
