Woman arrested after explosive device found

RIVESVILLE, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Rivesville woman was arrested after drugs, firearms and a small explosive device was found in her home.

According to the criminal complaint, 26-year-old Chelsea Stewart answered the door for officers who'd showed up at her residence on Main Street to serve an arrest warrant for Jackson Yeager. When the officers walked in, they discovered marijuana.

The officers obtained a search warrant for the residence, and found marijuana and methamphetamine, 3 loaded firearms, and a small explosive device. State Police was called in to handle the explosive device.

Stewart is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and Possession of a Destruction Device.

She is currently in North Central Regional Jail.
