Class "AA" Semifinal Preview: (3)Bridgeport at (2)Bluefield

BRIDGEPORT, W.VA (WDTV) - Bluefield's resume can be stacked up against any team in the state. The Beavers are 12-0, winning each postseason game by 32 points. And their defense allowed just over ten points a game in the regular season.

But the eye-popping stats come from the other side of the ball. Senior running back Mookie Collier is one of the state's best multi-sport athletes. He has scored 34 touchdowns and rushed for 1,744 yards.

Collier is not the only option in the Beaver backfield. Fellow senior Truck Edwards is nearing the thousand yard mark and he has scored 23 times.

Four years have passed since Bridgeport and Bluefield last met. The Indians hope that unfamiliarity against their schemes can work in their favor.
