Former Bridgeport head football coach Wayne Jamison has passed away at age 87. Jamison guided BHS football from 1970 to 1996. He is the winningest coach in program history, going 230-71 in 27 seasons. Jamison led Bridgeport to four state championships (1972, 1979, 1986 & 1988). Under his leadership, the Indians did not post a single losing season. The stadium at the BHS campus on Johnson Avenue bears his name.
