GLENVILLE, W.Va. (WDTV) - The Glenville State men's basketball team will host Jakobi's Journey Basketball Classic this Saturday and Sunday.
This tournaments will take place at the college and will see teams from the Mountain East Conference (GSC and WVWC) and teams from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (Slippery Rock University and California University of Pennsylvania) square off against each other.
This event will also be taking place to raise awareness about Infantile Scoliosis, something Glenville's head coach Stephen Dye's son, Jakobi, was diagnosed with when he was just six months old.
Jakobi continues to fight this, but he and his family hope this tournament can raise more awareness.
