CLARKSBURG, W.VA (WDTV) - For over a decade, former WVU guard and Notre Dame state championship head coach Jarrod West has hosted his annual youth basketball camp at different spots around Harrison County. This week, over seventy youngsters are competing in the four-day camp at Mountaineer Middle School, mixing drill and skill work with competitions.

Former campers, now in the latter stages of high school or early in their college careers return as camp coaches.

Even Marshall incoming guard, "Little" Jarrod West came up from Huntington for the final two days of camp.

West and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are four months removed from their state title and four months away from the official start of preseason practice. But the victory lap will soon end in November when the title defense begins.
