Fairmont Senior has played seven games against postseason teams this year, notably Bridgeport and University in back-to-back weeks. West has outscored their opposition 112-26 in the playoffs. But the challenge gets even bigger with 13-0 Bluefield on Friday.

Most high school programs use run-dominated offenses and Bluefield is no exception. Senior Mookie Collier just went over the two-thousand yard mark and his speed getting to the edge may be unrivaled in the state. Fellow senior Truck Edwards adds the element of a power back to get hard yards between the tackles.

Bluefield's work on the other side of the ball should not go overlooked. The Beavers allowed the fewest points of any "AA" team in the regular season and they held Bridgeport to just fourteen in the semifinals.
