BRIDGEPORT, W.VA (WDTV) - The lone local first-teamer on the Class "AAA" All-State roster is junior Amir Richardson of University High School. Richardson reeled in 48 passes for 715 yards and fifteen touchdowns.

Three of Richardson's teammates can be found on the second team. His quarterback... Clay Bailey is the captain of the second-team offense. The senior signal caller threw for 2,315 yards in twelve games and 21 touchdowns. Bailey also rushed for four scores as well.

Two more Hawks are found on the second team. Senior Will Gurtis makes the list for his work on the offensive line.

And another senior... Hayden Starcher appears on the second-team list for his work on the D-Line.

And rounding out the local all-state list is Preston senior Blake Miller. He rebounded well from a serious leg injury suffered early in his junior year to earn second-team status as a utility defender.
