WVU men's basketball ranked No. 2 in the country in latest AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) - The West Virginia men's basketball team, in the latest AP Poll, is ranked No. 2 in the country.

The Mountaineers have the longest winning streak in the nation with 14 games. This is the highest ranking for the program, in the AP Poll, since 1959.

West Virginia recently beat No. 7 Oklahoma, 89-76. In that game, freshman, Teddy Allen scored 20 points. He was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.
