Fire destroys one family's Monongalia County home. Now, firefighters that helped put out that blaze is now helping them get back on their feet.

Saturday night, the River Road Volunteer Fire Department put out a fire at the Edgell Family's home on Saylor Road in Westover. The fire destroyed not only the home, but all the furniture, clothing, and other items as well- all together costing about $100,000. The house was not insured. The cause of the fire is believed to be started from a generator.
