Fire Rips Through Doddridge County Home Sending One to Hospital

A fire rips through a home in Doddridge County.

It happened around 3:30 Sunday afternoon on Arnold's Creek Road, just outside of West Union.

An elderly man living in the house at the time had to be flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital with severe burns to his body.

Officials are unsure of what caused the fire and the State Fire Marshall will investigate

The West Union Fire Department, Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department, EMS and State Police all responded to the scene.
