Controversy surrounds a construction site in Buckhannon.

The WV District Council of Bricklayers picketed in front of the new Buckhannon Elementary School being built.

The bricklayers argue that McWilliams Masonry didn't hire their workers and that hurts their union.

President Benny McWilliams from McWilliams Masonry says "We are a non-union contractor, therefore, we hire non-union bricklayers.

The bricklayers union says they will picket until they're voices are heard.
