A jury in Upshur County finds Sonny Alloway not guilty in the death of his child.

It was the second trial for Alloway on the charges. He was accused of shaking his baby to death in 2005. The first trial ended with a mistrial.

Alloway took the stand today and told the jury that he did not shake his 6 week old baby, rather the baby stopped breathing after being put down for a nap.

The trial last four days and it took the jury just about an hour to reach a verdict.

Alloway says it's been a long two years and his family support has been amazing.

Now that Sonny has been cleared of all charges he says he plans to head to the beach with his family.
