A Jane Lew man allegedly involved in an hour long stand-off with police is in Lewis County court.
Terry Garton, 48, is facing six counts of felony wanton endangerment, and two misdemeanor charges of assault and domestic assault.
Garton waived his right to a preliminary hearing and will have his case heard by a grand jury.
Garton allegedly fired three shots into a house on Broad Run Road on Saturday. His estranged wife was allegedly staying at the residence with her children.
According to the criminal complaint, one of the bullets barely missed an bed-ridden elderly woman inside.
The complaint also says five other people were in the house, including a 3-year-old child.
When police arrived on scene, a standoff ensued for almost an hour with Garton armed with a gun.
Garton also has a prior domestic assault conviction from 2001.
He's in the Central Regional Jail on a $105,000 bond.
