Fire destroys a Marion County home Thursday evening.
It happened around 7:30p.m. on Dunn Avenue in Pleasant Valley.
No one was home at the time, and a passerby called 911 after seeing flames coming out the one door.
Crews from six county volunteer fire departments got on scene to a fully involved fire. It took them about 45 minutes to get the flames under control.
One firefighter was taken to Fairmont General Hospital with minor injuries.
There's no word yet on how the fire started. The Valley Volunteer Fire Department is investigating.
