Morgantown proposes to protect the community and deer

The Morgantown City Council is proposing an ordinance to stop folks from feeding deer.
The goal is not to write a lot of citations and tickets, but they do want the public to be aware that it is not good to feed the deer. The deer can become sick by leaving their natural habitat.
This ordinance is for the safety of the people of Morgantown and the deer. The City Council does not want to see yards destroyed or safety jeopardized.
A series of public meetings will be held before this ordinance is passed
