Last Updated on Friday, 20 November 2009 17:54 Written by Leslie Rubin Friday, 20 November 2009 17:35
A third suspect in a Clarksburg murder investigation turns himself in, but one is still on the run.
Three out of four suspects are now in custody after being charged with first degree murder, night time burglary, and conspiracy.
They're accused of planning to rob Clarence Leeson, 88, of Glenwood Hill back in August, and during the robbery, Leeson was struck in the head and died from the injuries.
Joshua Morgan, 25, of Salem turned himself in to Clarksburg Police around 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Police say he has cooperated with the investigation.
Morgan is now in the North Central Regional Jail, with no bond set, awaiting a preliminary hearing.
Meanwhile, Megan Titus and Christopher Robey will be brought back to Clarksburg to face the same charges sometime next week.
They were arrested in San Diego two weeks ago.
Christopher's brother, Nicholas Robey, is still on the run.
The criminal complaint alleges that Titus drove the three men to Leeson's home on the night of August 13, 2009.
The men entered the home and during the robbery, he was hit in the head causing fatal injuries.
Several guns and other items belonging to Leeson were taken from the home and the suspects fled the scene.
