Governor Declares State of Emergency

Rainfall and potential flooding throughout West Virginia has prompted Governor Joe Manchin to declare a State of Emergency.

The State of Emergency affects 34 counties in the state. That includes several counties in north central West Virginia, including Barbour, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, Randolph, and Upshur Counties. It will remain in effect until April 11th.
