UPDATE: Worker Suffers Burn Injuries at Loveridge Mine

A roof bolter was injured on the job at the Loveridge Mine number 22 in Marion County, Tuesday morning.

The injured man was working at the Sugar Run portal outside Farmington when he suffered a flash burn when he came in contact with a trolley wire.

The 61-year old man, who hasn't been identified, suffered first and second degree burns to his face, chest and abdomen, roughly 18% of his body.  He was flown to the West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh.

As of Wednesday, there is no update on his condition but Worthington EMS said they don't believe his condition appeared to be life threatening.
