Almost 400ft of Stolen Copper Recovered

About 360 ft of stolen copper was recovered in Randolph County, Wednesday morning.

Police received a call that several hundred feet of copper had been stolen from J.C. Welding in Elkins, sometime between Tueday night, and early Wednesday morning.

Shortly after discovering that the copper was stolen, Police went to a local recycling area, where they recovered about 360 feet of wire.

They are still following up on some leads, but anyone with any information is asked to give State Police a call at (304) 637-0200.
