Fairmont Man Charged with First Degree Robbery goes to Grandy Jury

A Fairmont man who allegedly was involved in a home invasion robbery will now have his case bound over to the grand jury.
William Horton, 27 of Fairmont is charged with one count of first degree robbery. Police say Horton was involved in the home invasion robbery where John Cottingham was shot and killed on Quarry Avenue in Fairmont last month.
Horton is also charged with first degree murder, the preliminary hearing for that case is scheduled for next week.
