Fire destroys a Preston County home, and investigators aren't sure what caused it.
Around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, fire crews were called to a home on Roaring Creek Lane near Cranesville.
But by the time they got on scene, the home had already burned to the ground.
But that wasn't the only problem firefighters faced. High winds carried the flames, and destroyed about two acres of woods before crews got it under control.
The fire is still under investigation.
