Two men are sentenced in Randolph County court on Friday, for their roles in a bank robbery last year.
Carl Hughes, 24, was given 10-to-25 years behind bars for robbery with a dangerous weapon, and 1-to-5 years for conspiracy. Those sentences will run consecutively. He'll also have to pay a $10,000 fine.
Joshua Pennington, 23, was given 1-to-5 years in the state penitentiary, and a $10,000 fine, for conspiracy.
Back in December, Hughes and Matthew Pennington walked into the Mountain Valley Bank with a gun, and took off with about $21,000. Joshua Pennington helped hide the money after the fact.
