Students at WVU learn about overcoming life's obstacles.

Miss West Virginia Talia Markham and Kyle Maynard spoke at a class called "The Total Athlete."

This class focuses on becoming well rounded athletes and individuals.

Maynard was born with a genetic disease that limits growth to his arms and legs, but nothing is out of reach for him.

Maynard and Markham want to encourage and inspire others.

Maynard is also writing a book called "No Excuses."
