Alex started at 5 News in March of 2008. He comes to us from Littleton, Colorado and he absolutely loves north central West Virginia and the people of the Mountain State.  He is the weekend meteorologist and weekday reporter in Upshur, Randolph and Barbour counties.

Alex graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004 with a degree in Climatology and Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences, as well as a minor in American History. Prior to joining WDTV, he worked at WHBF in Rock Island, Illinois and KLJB/INN in Davenport, Iowa

When he is not sky-gazing, Alex enjoys spending time with his fiance and cheering on every Denver-area sports teams...especially the Broncos and Nuggets!
