Students and Non-Profit Team up to Collect Bicycles

WDTV News

Anyone with an old bicycle lying around are encouraged by members of Tau Beta Pi engineering service organization and Positive Spin to drop it off this week at the Engineering Science Building on WVU's Evansdale campus.

The bicycles will be shipped to Positive Spin to be repaired and distributed to people who can't afford their own bike.

Folks can drop off their bicycle from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until April 12. They can also drop it off at Positive Spin's office at Grand Central Station in Morgantown.

Founder Nick Hein started the group in 2005 and hopes to collect at least 200 bicycles this week.
