Friday morning, a teen was struck by a car on the high-level bridge in Fairmont.

Fairmont Police say a teenage boy was hit by the vehicle when he stepped off the sidewalk and tried to cross four lanes of traffic.

The boy suffered lower body injuries and was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital.

There was no cross walk at the scene of the accident. The driver will not face any charges.
