For fresh vegetables, homemade pies, and spring greens, try heading to Randolph County this weekend.

The Elkins Farmer's Market is opening tomorrow, two months ahead of schedule. Vendors decided to begin in May for the first time in 30 years so they could sell more springtime farm crops. From 9 - Noon, you can drop by the town square on Railroad Ave. to buy an assortment of vegetables, grass-fed meat, breads and fresh farm eggs.

Beginning in July, the Market will also be open on Wednesday mornings from 7 - 10am.
