Two people were rushed to the hospital after an ATV accident Monday night. It happened just after 9:00 p.m. on Chub Run Road in Mount Clare.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department says a 4-wheeler was heading down Chub Run Road when it sideswiped a car. The riders, J.W. Brady and Boyd Merrill, were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital with severe head injuries.

The ATV did not have its lights on and the victims were not wearing helmets.

Deputies say charges are pending.
