Monongalia County 911 dispatchers say they got a call at 3:21 a.m. claiming that there was a vehicle heading West in the Eastbound Lane of I-68.  Then just a few minutes later they got a call that that vehicle had been involved in an accident near the Sabraton exit.

The Sheriff's Department says a Chevy Blazer heading the wrong way hit a Honda Riddgeline. Both drivers were pronounced dead on scene. A passenger in the Honda was taken to ruby memorial hospital.

Deputies say 27-year-old Zachary Fochtman of Traverse City, Michigan was driving the wrong way in the eastbound lane and hit 37-year-old Dustin O'Hara from Mechanicsville, Virginia. If you have any information about the accident call the sheriff's department at 291-7260.
