The Steer Steakhouse was back open for business Tuesday despite an early morning fire that damaged part of the building. Now, that fire has been ruled arson.

The fire broke out before 4:30 a.m. Flames were showing when firefighters got on scene but they were able to get the fire under control in a matter of minutes.

Assistant State Fire Marshal Mackey Ayersman says an ignitable liquid was used to start the fire. Samples of that substance have been sent to the State Police Forensic Lab for analysis.
