Nate is excited to be working for News Channel Five, covering Your Hometown News.

He is originally from Rochester, Pennsylvania, which is just north of Pittsburgh.

Prior to coming to WDTV, Nate studied at the University of Pittsburgh (WVU fans - don't hold it against him. Your teams are much better than his right now), majoring in Communications and minoring in Theatre. He graduated from Pitt in August of 2005.

Nate spent much of his last two years participating in some very rewarding internships. He interned with ESPN Radio 1250 in Pittsburgh for the spring 2005 semester, where he learned the inner workings of the radio world. He used that experience to his advantage while hosting a sports talk show called the "Sports Du Jour" on Pitt's official FM radio station during his senior year. Nate then spent six months as an intern with KDKA TV-2 for the sports department, where he had the privilege of covering and interviewing some of the great players for the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates (they'll win again someday, Bucco fans!).

Even though Nate is new to West Virginia, he is grateful for just how welcoming everyone has been.

He resides in Bridgeport with his wife, Erin, and dog, Louis.
