Kole Metz joined the WDTV Newsroom in May 2007, three days after graduating from West Virginia Wesleyan College. He produces the 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00 evening news.

While pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at Wesleyan, Kole was very active on campus; he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and co-hosted a weekly talk show on C-92 campus radio. A native of Cumberland, MD, Kole is the oldest of three children. He enjoys traveling, running, and his daily yoga routine.

He is very enthusiastic about his new position here at News Channel 5 and serving the residents of North Central West Virginia.
