Joe Brocato, a native of Westerly, Rhode Island, came to North Central West Virginia in December 2000.

Since arriving in the Mountain State... Joe has had the privilege of covering such notable events as the Continental Tire Bowl and the Gator Bowl, 2 NIT basketball tournaments, the Steelers playoff runs in 2001 and 2002, and the Penguins drive to the Eastern Conference finals in
2001.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hartford in December of 1999, Joe began his professional broadcasting career as a weekend sports anchor/reporter at KVTV-TV (CBS 13) in Laredo, Texas.

Joe also worked as a sports intern in his home state of Rhode Island at WJAR-TV (NBC 10) in 1999.

When Joe is not covering "Your Hometown Sports", you can find him on the beautiful golf courses of West Virginia.
