You can catch Whitney Kent every morning on Daybreak, bringing you the weather to start your day.

Whitney joined the WDTV team in April 2006; right after she
graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College. During her four years
at Wesleyan, she hosted two radio show for the college radio station
C92 and had a chance to interact with the good people of Buckhannon.
Also, during college she interned at Fox 45 in Baltimore where she
worked on her forecasting skills in the weather department for the
morning show. Whitney is currently enrolled in Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology program. Weather is her passion and as a child one of her favorite summer activities was to watch lightning and heavy rain from strong thunderstorms on her front porch.

Whitney is a native of Baltimore and loves everything Maryland
especially crab cakes and football. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her pup, Biscuit, doing pilates, traveling and baking.
