In a press conference Monday, Rich Rodriguez was officially introduced as The University of Michigan's new head football coach.

On Sunday,Rodriguez held a meeting with players and soon after the word of his departure started spreading around Morgantown and the whole state.

Alot of fans are upset that he will not be leading the Mountaineers to the Fiesta Bowl next month. Rodriguez says the reason is because he does not want to be the focus of the game. He says the attention belongs to the players.

The same rumors started flying last year over the coach's talks with Alabama. Some players say they're a little surprised over the decision, but others say they know he's just doing what's best for him and his family.
