Fire crews in Monongalia County were busy Wednesday morning as they battled a blaze at a local golf course.

It all started at about 2:30 A.M. when four different fire departments responded to a blaze at the Meadow Ponds Golf Course in Cassville.

Crews say the clubhouse was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on scene.

The fire was so strong it took them several hours to get it under control.

No one was hurt, but the building is a total loss.

No word yet on what may have caused the fire, or if foul play may have been involved.
