A Preston County woman pleads guilty to child neglect charges in Taylor County.

23-year-old Mary A. Johnson plead guilty to one county of child neglect. Over the summer, Johnson says she took about 15 Xanax pills then attempted to drive from Preston County to Flemington with her 3 and 4-year-old kids in the car. She passed out at the wheel in Blueville.

The judge sentenced her to 1-3 years in prison, but suspended that sentence and put her on probation for 3 years. She also has to enter the Community Corrections Program.
