A man accused of impersonating a Taylor County police officer in order to rob a man pleads guilty to the crime.

35-year-old Christopher Vennis plead guilty to grand larceny and daytime burglary. He admitted to impersonating an undercover officer and robbing a Thornton man back in January.

The judge sentenced Vennis to 2-20 years in prison.
