The State Fire Marshal's Office has ruled a fire that started at a Wallace home Wednesday as an act of Arson.

The fire broke out around 8:00 p.m. at the home on Church Street. When firefighters got on scene the house was engulfed in flames.

Assistant State Fire Marshal Mackey Ayersman says the fire started on the back porch. There were no utilities running to the house.
