Folks will head to the polls for the state's primary election Tuesday.

And some close races have folks campaigning to the very last minute. Presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton's last stop in a week long tour of the state was in Fairmont, for an old fashioned Democratic rally hosted by Governor Joe Manchin.

Local voters are excited that she decided to spend the night before the state's primary election in Fairmont.

Hundreds of voters packed into the Feaster Center at Fairmont State University to support all their candidates and say the importance of the state's primary is growing.

Many feel the national recognition of having a presidential candidate in town encourages everyone to head to the polls.
