Marion County has the oldest population in the state, but there's still first time young voters registering and heading out to the polls every election.

These voters decided to cast their ballots to have their voices heard and to make a difference in their city, county, state, and in the country.

Younger voters say they know the importance their vote makes.

It's an American right to vote and many young voters are excited to exercise that right and make a difference in the way the community and the country are run.

A presidential election year usually draws more folks to the polls and these voters agree this year's primary is important for the state.

They say they feel their vote really counts and they can't complain about anything if they don't make an effort to bring about a change.

But presidential election or not, these voters say they'll continue to head to the polls in all the elections to come.
