Events in Buckhannon have begun as the 67th Annual Strawberry Festival Officially got underway.

This morning was the Strawberry Capping event at the Buckhannon Senior Center where participants were given a tub of strawberries and then had to pull or cut the top of the strawberry off as quickly as possible. The first person to finish the entire tub was declared the winner and it took less than 2 minutes to complete the capping.
