Folks are fed up everywhere at the high price for a gallon of gasoline these days. But folks with the Barbour Democrat came up with a plan to protest these prices, and have a little fun at the same time.

On Wednesday they decided to deliver all their papers in Philippi by horse and buggy. Robert Byrnes, who works for the paper, says they may not accomplish anything with their protest, but they had fun doing it.

They delivered papers to nearly twenty stores in downtown Philippi.

The Barbour County Sheriff's department and Philippi Police Department assisted in the delivery.
